Whilst the rugged cast-iron design and simple styling may give the impression that the Esse Bakeheart has been around for decades, this state-of-the-art piece of quality British engineering encapsulates everything Esse has learned in more than 160 years of manufacturing stoves and range cookers.
With a clear view of the flames through the glass door to the firebox, the wood-fired Bakeheart provides heat to keep a cottage kitchen warm and toasty. A warming oven is situated under the firebox and if a lively fire has been alight for some time a kettle can be boiled on the hot plate.
